Complete with many early photos of the area and some folded panoramas. Von Goltz (1844-1916) was a Prussian general that served several years the Ottomans, training the Ottoman army. From 1880 to 1895, he spent most of his time in Turkey (he was called Goltz Pasha). He travelled for many years in Anatolia. His travel description of the place is considered to be among the most accurate.
