20 drx (18.12.1944) Provisional Treasury Note, issued in Kerkyra. Black ovpt on back of 50 drx (ND 1941) (Pick M14). Serial no "02230". After liberation, the boat carrying fresh notes to Corfu sank, and it was authorised to overprint italian occupation notes, until new notes arrive. Inside plastic folder by PMG "Choice uncirculated 64". (Pick 153) & (Stratoudakis - Pitidis 431). Extremely rare item!
