1862 Letter from Amaliopolis to Syros franked with 2l. bistre srtip of 5 and 10l. orange , showing municipal seal in blue (1/04/1862). This is the only known cover from this village, which had to change its name after the deposition of King Otto, because Amalia was his wife. The srtip of 5 of the 2l. is as rare as the cover from this village. Very fine and extremely rare, certificate by Holcombe. (Hellas 2a+4b).
