LA QUOTIDIENNE, 30/10/1825, FOLIO, 36x24cm, 4p. complete, very good condition.

The Turkish-Egyptian fleet appeared in Rhodes on the 15th of October, while the Greek fleet was following in close distance. It seems that the Ottomans will reach the island of Crete. Ibrahim is in Morea desperately needing new troops, as he had lost many men during his operations against Mani. Greeks of Constantinople start to believe that with the help of England and America they will finally gain their independence. The Turks denied the access to the Black sea to the Americans. Several other news for the Greek revolution and the Levant, especially about the tactical moves of admiral Rogers, commander of the Anglo-American fleet, to pursue pirates in the Mediterranean.
