An uncut large copy, contemporary leather over boards, inside clean, some very little scattered spotting. A very a good copy. Jouannin was certainly the best to provide a detailed and trusty account of the Ottoman Levant for the Univers serie, as he was the dragoman of the French embassy in Constantinople for 20 years and a honored explorer of the Levant.
