Wilbrecht Alexander, "Turcii Evropeeska", Saint Petersburg, 1793. Splendid Russian 18th century copper engraved map, 45x32cm, of Greece, Cyprus and adjacent areas from the very first Russian International Atlas ever published, the Novyj Atlas ili Sobranie Kart. This map is the third ever Russian printed map of Greece and the FIRST EVER RUSSIAN PRINTED MAP OF CYPRUS. Very light water stain in the upper left and right margins, two very light spots, otherwise fine condition. Original outline colours, heavy paper. The Atlas had been published only once with very limited print run and only four copies exist in public libraries worldwide.  Zacharakis 3703. EXTREMELY RARE
