Hans Henning von der Osten, a German archaeologist, travelled extensively in Anatolia after the end of the war. As a German he was trusted by the Turkish government and allowed freely to travel. He started to explore the central part around Halys (Yesilirmak) river, which was still unexplored .His precious rare account is full with fine rare original photographs. It is a scientific publication, with limited print run.
