Inset maps of Bosphorus, Dardanelles, Pagasitikos gulf and Thermopiles area (!!), a clear reference to the special interest for concrete places in Greece that time. A masterpiece of early lithography, an art originated in Munich. Published at the eve of the Greek Revolution, as interest for the Greek affairs grew up a lot in Germany. Vaudoncourt map, first published in 1818 in Munich again, was among the best topographical maps of Greece at that time. In almost fine condition and in the extremely rare state of un-joint sheets and not on linen.
