Depicting the Bulgarian views about the ethnological composition of Macedonia in the turn of the century. Both maps have been published separately in 4 sheets each and follow the administrative separation of the Ottoman administration. Legend with villages and cities colored according their ethnological composition . Each sheet of Salonique Vilayet map measures 66x53cm and each sheet of Monastiri Vilayet measures 55x50cm, but the scale remains the same. Here offered Sheets 3 and 4 of Thessaloniki Vilayet map, representing the actual Greek Macedonia and all the southern part of the Vilayet and Sheets 1 and 4 of Monastir Vilayet map covering the actual Greek western Macedonia and the area around Prespa and Ochrida lakes. In total, the three independently published maps of the southern sections cover almost entirely the actual Greek Macedonia, measuring two meters in length. Extremely rare set.
