Signor di Loir travelled in the Levant in the middle of 17th century. He had visited the Archipelago, Smyrna and Efessos before reaching Constantinople where he stayed for a long time. In his return visited Korinthos, the Morea and the Ionian islands of Zakynthos and Kerkyra before his return in Italy. The work is written in a form of letters which was quite fashionable then, dated from November 1639 to June 1641.He provided very lengthy accounts for the Levant in an early time. Scarce.
