Bellin, one of the best French Geographer of the time and director of the Depot de la Guerre prepared this comprehensive travel account which deals with all the places along Dalmatia, Ionian islands and Epirus coastlines up to Morea, including Athens and the then flourishing islands of Hydra and Spetses .it is a very detailed account, compiled from French primary sources and illustrated with unique and original forty nine (49) folded maps of all those places .It is a kind of maritime Atlas of the Ionian sea ,of Morea and adjacent places .Published only once in 1771 it became rare since Brunet time, 200 years ago .An impressive publication with fine provenance.
