First edition, in 4to 25x16,original blue paper cover, missing upper cover and cover of spine, complete 722p.,2 folded maps,10 plates and many illustrations in the text, few edges of pages very slightly frayed, few very light scattered spotting in two plates, text clean and bright, overall in  good condition.

Biliotti was for several years consul in Rhodes and knew perfectly the island. It is the most comprehensive travel account for Rhodes published in the 19th century. Still a reference for several matters regarding  the island. Not in Atabey or Blackmer .Scarce
