Dezauche Jean-Claude,

"Carte de la Mer Noire comprenant la plus grande partie de lEmpire ottoman, partie des Etats de lEmpereur, de la Russie... / dressée par Dezauche,... ; gravé par P. F. Tardieu... 1807". Impressive separately printed copper-plate map, dim. 95x67cm, with outline colouring. The map was firstly issued in 1788 to depict the theatre of Russo-Turkish War of 1787–1792. The current map was separately printed in 1807 just after the breakthrough of the new 1806–1812 Russo-Turkish wars, that ended with the Russian victory and the Treaty of Bucharest. Attached on contemporary linen. Label with handwritten title on reverse. Very Rare
