Greek 1922 Refugees in Syria / Mικρασιάτες πρόσφυγες του 1922 στη Συρία. Three (3) rare photographs depicting Greek refugees from Asia Minor or Pontos (Black Sea coast) in Qatma, a village in the today Syria-Turkish borders. Handwritten caption in French & Greek on one photograph "Photographie a Katma (Alep), le 16 Decembre 1922 11h. / Εφωτογραφίθημεν εν Κάτμα τη 16-12-1922, ωρ. 11". More than 17.000 Greek from Asia Minor and Pontos found refugee in (the French occupied in that time) Syria after the Greco-Turkish war of 1922 and during the Lausanne negotiations for the population exchanges between Greece & Turkey.
