He was head of the Amsterdam library, and moved to the court of Queen Christina who purchased his father Gerhard-Johann’s comprehensive library. Softcover of the period, obvious wear, with ink marks over upper board and spine, along with first and last page inside. Binding rather loose, title page with sticker holes and a small repair.
