Text in Latin, translation from Greek by the German historian and humanist Hieronymus Wolf. Woodcut initials.17th century blind-stamped leather, spine with raised bands, heavily rubbed and soiled. Clean and tight inside. 17th century handwritten ex-libris note in title page “Ex libris Joannis Filleau”. An attractively printed early French Isocrates.
