Extends from Albania (Dalmatia) to the Black Sea (Pontus Euxinus) and reaching to the modern Northern Greece. It describes the 18th century Balkans, highlighting the prominent cities of Istanbul (Constantinople), Thessaloniki (Salonichi), Edirne (Andrinopoli), Belgrade, and Sophia. Curiously the location of the ancient city of Troy is also labeled with considerable accuracy. Map dim. 42,5 x 18cm. Folded as issued. Contemporary hand-colouring.
