Thomas Fuller, “The Historie of the Holy Warre. By Thomas Fuller”, Cambridge: Roger Daniel & John Williams, 1647 [BOUND TOGETHER] “The Holy State” & “The Profane State”, printed by R.D. for John Williams, 1652. Three works of Thomas Fuller bound together. 4to (28cm), pp.[12], 286 + [28] + 510. 

“The Historie of the Holy Warre” with frontispiece and Declaration of the frontispiece, but lacking the fold-out map.  with chronological tables and two indexes. “The Holy State” & “The Profane State”: title to each part, with woodcut vignette of a crown, and woodcut border to each, additional engraved title to first part, 20 engraved portraits in text.

Contemporary binding with blind-stamped decorations on boards. Rebacked. Spotting, covers soiled, worn joints, bumped corners and worn extremities. Ex-libris label.
