BRITISH ADMIRALTY, “Mediterranean – Ionian Sea / West Coast of Morea from Kastro Tornese to Venetico with the Island of Zante”. Early British sea chart 100x67cm from the south shores of Cephalonia up to the Kalamata gulf, with five inset charts (Koroni ,Methoni, Petalidi, Katakolo bay, Proti island – νήσος Πρώτη). First published in 1867 after the survey of Captain Mansell and the Officers of H.M.S. Hydra. This was the second survey of the British Admiralty for this area, following the one conducted by Captain Smyth in 1825. Corrections up to 1887. Map sheets on linen fabric, folded and placed in official cloth case bearing the title “COAST MOREA / ZANTE”.
