ZATTA, “Orbis Veteribus Notus / Venetiis 1795”, Detailed map of the Old World, extending from Europe and North Africa to the Erythraeum Sea (Indian Ocean) and showing all of modern Saudi Arabia, with a large inset of India and the western part of SE Asia. The map is firstly printed in Zattas monumental Altante Novissimo, bearing the date 1785. Here the date is changed in plate to “1795”, most probably indicating a separately reprint of the map.
