FIRST EDITION of Apollonius lexicon on Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey, based on a manuscript parts of it presented in the edition and the only work of Apollonius existent today.

Title pages printed in red and black ink. Text in parallel sheets of original Greek & translation in Latin. Very interestingly in the edition included 9 plates presenting parts of the original manuscript text and list of abbreviations used there.

Uniform contemporary full calf.  Marginal signs of worm-holes on first and last sheets of vol.I and last 1/3 sheets of vol.II. Wear along edges and external joints. Occasional spotting, mostly clean and fine inside.
