This is the first personal book of the influential German photographer Herbert List, presenting his photographs-impressions of his travel in Greece between 1937 and 1939. Some of these photographs were published in magazines (Life, Photographie, Verve and Harpers Bazaar), but the whole collection, was finally published in the current edition in 1953.
