GREECE: Silver plated medal (1896 dated) commemorating the 1st Olympics in Athens. Personification of Victory on obverse. Inscription "ΔΙΕΘΝΕΙΣ ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΙ ΑΓΩΝΕΣ ΑΘΗΝΗΣΙ 1896" within olive branch on reverse. Designed by N. Lytras and W. Pittner. Inside large slab by PCGS "SP 55 / Olympiad 1896 - Athens / Gad-2 Silvered AE". Cert number: 43219628. (WURZB 410).
