Probably the first banknote printed in Greece after the Revolution
Lot 06568

100 Grossi (12.ΜΑΙΟΥ.1822) in black on white paper. First S/N: "1". Seal of the Ministry of Economy at bottom left. Signatures by Mavrokordatos, Notaras and Theodoros Negris. Never redeemed! Printed in Corinth. Inside holder by PMG "Very Fine 20". Actually this is probably the first banknote printed in Greece after the Revolution, since it is the first value with the first S/N! (Hellas 1b) & (Pick 1).
