This edition by Henry Stephanos, comprising epigrams by 74 Greek authors, the editio princeps for 18 thereof, is the most credible and comprehensive of all the foregoing and contains interpretative commentaries by Stephanos himself.

Front cover detached, rear cover’s joint cracked. Inside toning and worming mainly to the first and last 50 sheets.

Brown dyed Morocco, covers with blind-stamped decorations (floral panels, cornerpieces and a beatifull central oval blind tooled rosettes), spine with blind-stamped decorations, raised bands and title in gilt. Private library stamp on rear past-down.
