His descriptions are very accurate, full with details about the people and the formation of their societies. Vellum spine with handwritten title, covers seem to be later covered by vellum. Armorial ex-libris label “George Lawrence” on pastedown, Ex-libris “Βιβλιοθήκη Σπ. Λοβέρδου” in gilt on front free endpaper recto, label “Fox Hills” and handwritten text on front free endpaper verso. Internal joint cracked, free end-paper almost detached. Interior with just light toning and rarely found spotting. Not in Blackmer, Atabey 732, Brunet III 1204. Rare.
