Fine contemporary gilt tooled binding: contemporary red morocco, covers with four borders with rolls of flowers and scattered small pointille tools, two sets of fleuron cornerpieces, centered on a crown, spine finely tooled in gilt with fleuron designs and five raised bands. All edges and turn-inns in gilt. Armorial ex-libris label with Arms of Hope “Hopetoun” and Ex-libris “Βιβλιοθήκη Σπ. Λοβέρδου” in gilt both on front pastedown. External light rubbing, wear along spine’s extremities and few bumped spots. Light spotting inside.
