NGC - UNC DETAILS / BENT / Pattern
Lot 06832

Pewter pattern of a medal (1825) from the collection of medals that were engraved by Konrad Lange. Bust of Andreas Miaoulis facing left on obverse. Sailor with torch and battle scene with burning ships behind on reverse. This medal was presented at the Numismatic Museum of Athens for the occasion for the 200 years since the Greek Revolution. Inside thick slab by NGC "UNC DETAILS / BENT". Cert number: 6641993-004. (Chase# 411) & (Wurzb# 6277).

A metal analysis of this example showed the following results: Cu: 1,536 Sn: 96,788 Pb: 1,236 Sb: 0,014 As: 0,212 Bi: 0,215 which is a typical Pewter alloy.
